I am a native of Phoenix, AZ. I can't imagine living anywhere else. I'm a Union Carpenter currently working for McCarthy Building Companies. My family and the gym are my hobbies and passion.

I was introduced to sports at an early age; I enjoyed wrestling and football. It was playing sports that eventually led me to working out in a gym. As I continued to play team sports, my passion for working out grew stronger. It wasn't until after high school that I explored other areas of the fitness world.

A childhood friend of mine; Kelly Schmidt; inspired me to take my training to the next level. After following his journey, I decided to enter my first fitness competition. After 16 weeks of preparation I entered my first show in San Diego, CA and 6 weeks following my first show I entered my second. My second show was the Western Regional at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, AZ. The host Miles Nuessle had about 500 athletes register for this event; the largest event I had ever experienced. I was very impressed with how organized and efficient such a large show was orchestrated. Each show has been a great experience. I plan to attend another Miles production in the future and I plan to attend Nationals in Las Vegas this July.
